Section 5 - Penticton to Vaseux Lake
Trail Section Description
The north end of this section begins near the historic Sicamous Sternwheeler on the shores of Okanagan Lake. Cross the Okanagan River on a small foot bridge and follows the river side trail south, passing under Hwy 97 and traveling 6 km south to meet Hwy 97 again at Skaha Lake. This section is paved although there are some rough patches! Now, turn west and keep to the north side of the road, crossing Airport Road and follow the signs to an underpass taking you through Wright’s Beach Camp. From here you can cycle 12.5 km south to cross the trestle into Okanagan Falls. This section is largely smooth gravel except for some paved bits through Banbury Green RV Park and Kaleden. At Okanagan Falls, cross Hwy 97 at Cedar Street and then use the attached Google Map Directions to navigate to the north end of Vaseux Lake.
